Mission Statement
To better equip, train and release Christians into their specific destiny as they live out their call: To Know God, Be Known By God and To Demonstrate God.
Core Values
The core values of a ministry provide a snapshot of what is important to them. Our core values listed below reflect those themes that we at JSOM invest ourselves into.
PRAYER/WORSHIP: It is only possible to walk in and flow with the heart of the Father, when we maintain the discipline and joy of relational communication with Him, and press in to know Him and be known by Him. Prayer is the heart of Jubilee Church. Prayer and worship are more than disciplines to us. Intimacy and dependency on Him are birthed by a lifestyle of the expectant bride constantly falling in love with her Bridegroom and “walking” with Him, of the joyful child, yielded, trusting and obeying their Father, of a friend, walking, playing and working alongside, of a joint heir, standing, governing and overcoming.
RELATIONSHIP: We develop relationship with God, each other and our surrounding community (Santa Monica to Santa Barbara and from Santa Clarita to Santa Cruz Island). We build up both vertical relationship and horizontal community. To Love God above all else, and to love our Brother as ourselves. (Mark 12:29-31) To intimately know Him in everyday practical living
TRUTH: We are called to live life birthed and maintained through grace. We have the authority and mandate to live experiencing the value of the body and blood of Jesus Christ – to live in the truth of the Word of God. To be free in Christ though truth
SUPERNATURAL LIFESTYLE: We are all made with the capacity to live in the Kingdom of God doing supernatural exploits in His name, to the Glory of God. However, becoming wholly His is treasured, as we practice personal gifting, walking in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, growing in faith.
IMPARTATION: The power and anointing of the Holy Spirit are transferable though the “laying on of hands.” This Greek word translated impart, metadidomi, is comprised of two smaller Greek words, meta and didomi. Meta means with, as to walk with someone, an ally. Didomi means more than simply giving. The Greek suggests profusion and abundance—a complete "giving over" to another's care and trust. To impart, then, means to give with profusion from the depths of oneself. This "giving over" is the same word used to describe how the sea "gives over" that which is hidden beneath. From the depths of God's Spirit, through our spirit, impartation comes forth. Prophetic revelation gives us the words to speak. The anointing enables us to speak these words. Then, through impartation, these words become spirit and life and flow into the depths of those who have a hearing ear. Mentorship is part of impartation. Each student have a mentor selected by the Lord for that particular student – The reproducing of the substance imparting life of Christ, as disciplines of a Life of Faith, are imparted to each willing student.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: In order to be a people of culture influence, we must develop the ability to direct others through Godly leadership, and nurture the opportunity for leadership in them. Students are taken into a time of restraint and then led toward abundant freedom as the character of Christ is formed in each willing student. Students will spend time with Church leaders and receive the impartation of values and wisdom.
DESTINY CLARIFICATION: Each person has a specific calling/destiny upon their lives. Some may be called into the ecclesiastic ministry and some to the marketplace ministry, each of which is vital to the kingdom of God. As mentors develop each student, the Lord will begin to identify and clarify each student’s calling. We can agree with, and experience His plans for them to walk into their destiny. Each student will be given the opportunity to grow, and be stretched into greater freedom, as their individual anointing that is carried by each is identified and developed. Each student will learn to work within their strength and to go through the doors that the Lord has called each one to enter. Both Marketplace and Church ministries are of equal value to the Kingdom.
OUTREACH: It is the heart that God is after, then to His Glory will his Kingdom be established in us and through us as we become Kingdom builders within the church and within the secular workplace – all to the Glory of God. The impartation of power and the blessings of walking in the Kingdom are meant to be given away. The great commission must be obeyed as His foundation of love bursts from our hearts to others. We can take our families, neighbors, cities, nations, and co-workers for Christ, as He uses us to reach out and serve them.
SERVICE: We are called to serve God and serve one another. Ministry means Service to the Kingdom. Students will be given the opportunity to serve in many ways both within the church and outside the church. Whether its evangelism, healing the sick, casting out demons, mopping floors or stacking chairs, service is unto the Lord and for His glory
