What is Your Beloved?
Vol. 8 - Issue 8 - 2/21/12
"What is your beloved More than another beloved, O fairest among women? What is your beloved More than another beloved, That you so charge us?" Song of Solomon 5:9.
Dear Beloved of the Lord,
The Shulamite was dazed and confused, having been wounded by the watchers, as she frantically searched for her beloved. When she met the daughters of Jerusalem she let out her love-sick charge, “I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my beloved, that you tell him I am lovesick!” Their reply was a bit undermining when they asked,
“What is your beloved more that another beloved, O fairest among women? What is your beloved more than another beloved that you so charge us?
"My beloved is white and ruddy, Chief among ten thousand. His head is like the finest gold; His locks are wavy, and black as a raven.” Song of Solomon 5:8-11.
The Shulamite’s praise located her! As she began to praise her Beloved, giving to him attributes and affectionate language, she began to be strengthened with might in her inner man. At the end of her praise she is declaring with authority, “Yes he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved and this is my friend, o daughter s of Jerusalem.” Song of Solomon 5:16. Now the daughters of Jerusalem want to know where to find this beloved as they ask,
"Where has your beloved gone, O fairest among women?
Where has your beloved turned aside, That we may seek him with you?
The Shulamite:
"My beloved has gone to his garden, To the beds of spices,
To feed his flock in the gardens, And to gather lilies.
I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine.
He feeds his flock among the lilies." Song of Solomon 6:1-3
Praise located her in her beloved and located her beloved in her, as it does for us as well. Whenever we praise the one we love, and declare why He is altogether lovely, we move from being lost to being found, from being abused to leading and knowing again.
Here’s a little something you can do to activate your praise take a moment and ascribe twenty descriptive words to Jesus... Jesus you are lovely, you are strong, my Savior, and my King... that’s four. This will shift your atmosphere! Doing this will change your day!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
I am Love Conference: March 7-10th is just a little over two weeks away. Register now so our intercessors can begin praying for you. The Lord has promised to pour out His love in our hearts during these four days, as we encounter Him. Thirteen general sessions, with powerful praise, Prophecy Rooms that will be offered Thursday-Saturday 2PM and Healing rooms that will be available Thursday and Friday 4PM, (Prophecy Rooms are open this Thursday 7-9PM).
Wednesday, 7PM: Shirley Quon continues her teaching on "Ungodly Beliefs." What are they, where do come from, and most importantly how do you get rid of them? This will be a life changing evening. It’s time to enter fully into the Beloved.
Sunday, 9AM: DeLynn Buonvincino will be sharing on “Hindrances to Partaking of the New Wine.” It is time for our minds to be prepared so that we may receive a deep revelation of His love poured out to us. God wants to remove depression from His people.
Sunday, 11AM: I will be sharing “His Love Never Fails.” Nothing can separate us from His love. This is a love so strong that God defies anything to separate us from His great love. This is going to be an activation service again. The Lord is looking to demonstrate His love in His body, to those so hungry, love sick, that they will be wrecked in His love even before we get to the “I am Love” Conference.
