It was so good being together with so many members of our body this Sunday during the Parking lot Service. Our intercessors began early with a Jericho march around our building seven times. Later, worship with the word was transformational as we stepped into Revelation 7 and throne room adoration within the salvation that belongs to God and the Lamb. From this place, we proclaimed Revelation 7, and “Covenant Breakthrough” though the blood, His resurrection, and love, with all of this culminating in communion. To watch on-demand, click here.

We are praying and planning for our next Parking Lot Sunday service and will keep everyone posted. Before that, on Wednesday August 12th at 6:00 pm in the Parking Lot, we will be gathering for “Intercession and Worship” for California, our Nation, and for the World. I believe we are in a moment where God’s promise is ours to be fulfilled.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house” (2nd Chronicles 7:11, NKJV).

Four things we do that unlock the three things only God can do.

Our Part
Humble ourselves. Humility is recognizing we are not in control, but that Jesus Christ is. Humility is asking for help.

Pray. Here, prayer means to judge ourselves, not our neighbor. It is our honest heart coming to God in humility.

Seek His Face. Taking whatever means necessary, we bring ourselves into His presence. Pressing through obstacles, we do not stop until we are in His presence, and we know it.

Turn from our wicked ways. Wickedness or evil is often misguided zeal and self-righteousness. Only a humbled honest heart, willing to seek and discover a good and sovereign God, can have a glory encounter that brings exchange and answered prayer.

God’s Part
Hear from heaven. We gain God’s attention when we in humility pray in honesty, seek God’s face, and respond by turning from ourselves and away from our wicked ways, and into God’s provision of Christ.

Forgive our sins. We need our sins forgiven; not our neighbors. All sin has been paid for in Christ and therefore forgiven. But pride, self-reliance, and the judging of others continue to compound their effects on our lives and land.

Heal our Land. The fruit of prayer, and all encounters with Jesus, is that we turn, and He heals us. He will not change. We will. He is sitting in heaven, laughing at our antics on the earth. From the greatest king to the least powerful man on earth, we cannot, and will not, save our lives and heal our land.

God can. God will!
