I love our corporate prayer on Wednesdays. I discover things there that I would not have in my own prayer time, because Jesus is in our midst. For the past several weeks, there has been a call to the prodigals to come home. Several times we have found ourselves in different watches calling to those who are God’s but have wandered from the truth.

The week before Easter, this became especially strong and apparent that the Father was active in this cry. God does not look at us by our actions but by His name. When we are called by His name, we are His, created for His glory, formed, and made by Him, in Christ. His calling has become so strong that we will join in His cry this Sunday and beyond by bringing the names of sons and daughters, family, friends, and foes, everyone who is called by Father’s name in Jesus Christ.

I have seen a vision of us bringing names (first names only) of those God has called by His name and created for His glory, but that are no longer walking with Him, and placing them in baskets on the platform in the Sanctuary. There we will keep them before the Lord as we daily call them home. Here is the scripture that the Lord has decreed that we will declare, this Sunday and beyond!

Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth – Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for my glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:5-72
