Hearing Comes First
God is speaking. Every day. The question is, are we listening? Hebrews 3:15 reminds us: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” When we tune in to His voice, our hearts stay soft, our direction becomes clear, and our faith is strengthened.
Believing Comes Next
Once we hear, we must choose to believe. We mix our faith with what we’ve heard and trust God to do what He says, regardless of what our current situation looks like. Abraham didn’t waver at the promise of a son—even when he and Sarah were well beyond childbearing years. He looked past his circumstances and focused on God’s character. We’re called to do the same.
Don’t look at your situation and wonder if you’re capable. Look to God’s Word, His nature, and His ways—then boldly declare His promises over your life. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20
You Are Not Alone
The Holy Spirit—the treasure in an earthen vessel—dwells within you. He doesn’t just comfort or empower; He reminds you of everything Jesus has said. “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” — John 14:26 God has placed His Spirit within us to guide, remind, and lead us every step of the way.
Holy Spirit, thank You for dwelling in us. Help us hear Your voice today and remind us of everything Jesus has spoken. Give us faith to believe and courage to follow. We trust You to lead us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
