What did Elisha and the Shunamite widow have in common? Desperation and miracles. They even made the same declaration, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” From their intense faith they received the reward of their heart cries: Divine intervention. Meanwhile, Naaman had a desperate cry, but his pride stood in the way of his healing. Need is not faith, but it can lead to faith. Together, let’s find faith for the miraculous. (2 Kings 2-5).
