“Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, ‘Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people’” (Luke 1:24-25, NKJV).
During the 11:00 service this week, we watched Elizabeth as she conceived, hid herself in God, and received the miracle of her promise. The Lord hid her in Himself, and she hid herself in Him, abiding until His promise came into maturity.
As I walked out of the sanctuary on Sunday, I greeted a few godly women, all of whom were filled with gratitude at the revelation God was bringing. As I did, I found myself saying to each of them, “You are a carrier of His seed.”

Later as I was sitting in my office writing about my experience, a prophecy began to rise up within me and I heard the Lord say:
“I am calling My people. The ones who have carried My words and suffered reproach because of it. I am bringing awakening and new experiences in My presence; experiences filled with life and promise.
Now, My sons and daughters, carriers of My seed, Jesus will conceive, and you will hide yourselves inside of Me; inside of My promise. I am dealing with reproach against My people by bringing my sons and daughters into My secret place. A place of presence and promise, of delight and joy. There I will swallow up death in victory as I wipe away the tears from their eyes and the trauma from their lives. Here, in My secret place, they will find themselves hidden in Christ as I remove their reproach from among men. For those who wait on Me shall never be ashamed, but shall see the salvation of the Lord.”
Being carriers of His seed (Jesus) is the true Christmas story. By hiding ourselves inside of Christ, inside of His promise, we fulfill our part in the story. On Sunday, God released a powerful anointing to abide inside Christ, just as His word abides inside us. Here, in this place of intimacy, God removes all reproach, replaced by fruitfulness and fulfillment.
