Memorial Day Picnic

Monday, May 27, 2019 from 11am to 4pm

Our Annual Memorial Day Picnic will take place on Monday, May 27, at Camarillo Grove Park, 6968 E. Camarillo Springs Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012, from 11:am to 4:00 pm.

This year, the theme of our picnic will be The Hippy Dippy 60’s. We are calling it “The Summer of Love Picnic Extravaganza!” Feel free to come in your groovy bell bottoms, boss tie-dyed shirts, out- of- sight fringe, long hair, or whatever you think the 60’s style was all about! It’s going to be “far out”.

Our Picnic will be a Community Outreach! Everyone can get involved by inviting friends, family, co-workers or whole neighborhoods so we can release and demonstrate the love of Jesus!
Come, gather with friends and let your “hair down…long beautiful hair” as you brave the Obstacle Course, Three-Legged Race, Sack Race and various other competitive contests. We’ll also have games for all ages, Prophetic 60’s face painting, pinatas and water fun for the little ones! Bring towels. For those needing a day to chill out, smell the flowers and relax, just bring your lawn chair, visit with others and make some new groovy friends in the process.

What to bring? We will provide the tri-tip and hot dogs at no cost (no “bread” required). All members are encouraged to bring a large side dish to share with others. Sign up below on what to bring or contact Rosie Bates at rosiebates@jubileechurch.org.

This is a FREE event. Parking is only $3 per vehicle. Get your bell bottoms out of the closet and join us or just come as you are. “Can you dig it?”
