Roots Gathering – Here Comes the Bride!

Roots will be holding their 1st meeting of the New Year (5779) on Sept 8, 2018.  It will be at 6 in the Jubilee Family Room.

Our general schedule for the meetings will be as follows:

6:00 – Shofar blowing and opening Prayer
6:05 – Worship
6:20 – Current Events
6:40 – Intercessory prayer for Israel
7:00 – Teaching  Sept. 8th – WEDDING REHEARSAL FOR THE BRIDE OF CHRIST!
7:45 – Oneg

The English definition of Hebrew word “Oneg”: means daintiness, and/or exquisite delight!

Our interpretation of Oneg will be that we each bring a “little dainty” or special sweet treats (desserts) for the end of our Roots celebration of the evening!  Just bring something to share that you personally like to eat and that reflects your own dietary requirements.  That way, whether it is fresh fruit, pie, cake or cucumbers, there will be something for everyone!

We are opening the new season, studying about the Preparation of the Bride of Christ for her BrideGroom, and the parallel between the Hebrew Wedding Celebration and The Wedding Feast of the Lamb!

Hoping to see you all at 6pm at the Jubilee Cafe, on September 8th!

Much love, Mack & Cathy McCoy
