Jesus, in the Garden of Gethsemane, overcomes Satan where Adam had failed. Jesus fully submits to the Father as He pours out His soul unto death. Nobody else could. He alone had to purge our sins. But we learn much about Christ’s prayer as we listen to Jesus in our trials. Please meditate John 17, 18; Matthew 26; Luke 22; Isaiah 53.
