Your Word is a Lamp

When you’re walking on a dark, unfamiliar path, a lamp doesn’t show you the entire journey. Instead, it illuminates just the ground directly in front of you. This is what God’s Word does in the midst of trials. It doesn’t necessarily reveal how or when the trial will end, but it provides enough light for the next step. It gives you the guidance you need to navigate the darkness without stumbling.
