Eyes have not seen.
Father raised Jesus from the dead by His Spirit. Now, His Spirit dwells in us. Prayer opens the eyes of our understanding to see.
“What is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come”. Ephesians 1:19, 20
Prayer brings the Holy Spirit into action to demonstrate and give what the Father has given us in the Son.
“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and ground in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saint what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God”. Ephesians 3:14-19
The Holy Spirit is the means by which the Father answers all prayers, all that we ask or think.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” Ephesians 3:20
Finally, the Holy Spirit is the source of all power in Jesus and the way by which we are able to stand in the full armor of God against all the methods and wiles of the devil.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10, 11
