The Holy Spirit and Prophetic Scriptures give us God’s effective prayer for Israel.

I write this on Wednesday, October 11th, during our Intercession Watches from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in our Sanctuary for Israel, America, the Nations, and for the Awakening of the Church. We have also begun Corporate Intercession every Wednesday Service, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the Sanctuary. We have been charged with this call to intercession through the year 2024.

The secret of intercession is in identification in Christ. Jesus called it abiding in Him and His words abiding in us. Our abiding is inside Christ, who is seated at the right hand of God and makes intercession for us. Our abiding inside of Christ is with His words abiding in us. Our prayers then come from His place of triumph and His truth spoken to us in His living Word.

The secret of intercession is the Holy Spirit, who intercedes for us knowing the mind of the Spirit. He leads, and the Word confirms, sometimes the Word leads, and the Spirit confirms. It is easy to pray from our emotions, opinions, here-say, and ancient hatred, and want to send fire down on our adversaries instead of salvation, Luke 9: 51-56

What is God saying over Israel? Fortunately, we have an entire bible of promises over Israel; so, He is saying a lot! I started this short blog at 9:30 a.m. this morning. I then went into our Intercession Watch in the Sanctuary, from 10:45 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. I witnessed the Holy Spirit move among us with His Word guiding us to pray together, while loving each other, honoring each other, and listening to the Spirit in each other.

God will defend Israel, and God will bring Israel into repentance. God will step into the conspiracy of nations against His people, and He will call nations into repentance. The Son of Man sits on the throne judging all matters of the earth. The Holy Spirit moves in the body of Christ interceding over us in the will of God for us.

I could now begin giving many scriptures that regard Israel and the current war, but rather than that, I will share this one directive that is simple and requires the humility of a child.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.” Psalm 122:6
