Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17, 18

On Wednesday, March 22nd, we begin three weeks of reconciling our hearts, homes, and the house of God. Following the instructions given by God to Ezekiel, during the two weeks preceding Passover and through the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we will apply communion to our hearts, our homes, and the house of God.

Think of it like Spring cleaning. We will apply the blood of communion and the body of Christ to our lives, where sins done in ignorance and sins done unintentionally are all reconciled to God. The picture is in Ezekiel 45:18-25, a time of preparation for the Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Resurrection Sunday. Twenty-two days of worship, communion, and cleansing.

I will share on Sunday how we can all take communion throughout the three weeks and apply the blood to the doorposts of our hearts, homes, and house of God. I will also share how to pray over our houses and God’s house. These weeks will be a glorious time of reconciliation, renewal, and redemption, that I believe will be richly rewarded by our Father as we appropriate His propitiation in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
