“Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:1-3)

The Passion of our Lord as He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, while the multitudes moved by the Holy Spirit praised Him “Hosanna, Hosanna,” they cried, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
The Pharisees watched with envy, powerless as Jesus cleansed His Temple and restored worship, prayer, preaching, and power. They confronted Him only to be challenged in their legitimacy. “Hypocrites!” He cried, as He confronted their doubles standard.
What will be the sign of His coming and the end of the age? Parables to His disciples, anointing at Bethany, the Passover meal, the new covenant established, behold our Servant/Master washing the feet of His disciples.
Walk with Him from the upper room on Mount Zion to the Garden of Gethsemane. It takes three chapters in John (15-17). He enters the garden and prays for three hours, His disciples sleep…
Rising from prayer, triumphant! Into His sufferings Jesus went—strength, dignity, conviction, and pose. He walks the Via Delarosa, is crucified, buried and…RESSURECTED!
Triumphant of the ages, time stands still, sin is undone, and we are made righteous, justified, glorified — conformed to His image!
