Getting to Know Jesus & Jubilee Better
An 8 Week Course begins Sunday, May 4th – 9am in Room 6
You are invited to join a class exploring the deeper dimensions of Christ, moving beyond the foundational principles outlined in Hebrews 6:1-2. This 12 week course, taught by Peter Skidanov, is designed for those who desire to deepen their understanding of God and grow in their spiritual maturity.
Class Description:
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. Hebrews 6:1+2 NKJV
Hebrews 6:1-2 encourages believers to progress beyond the initial stages of Christian faith, such as repentance and belief in God. This class will delve into these foundational elements while emphasizing the importance of spiritual growth and maturity. We will explore topics such as:
- Repentance from Dead Works: Understanding the true meaning of repentance and its ongoing significance in the Christian life.
- Faith Toward God: Deepening our understanding of faith and its role in our relationship with God.
- The Doctrine of Baptisms: Examining the various types of baptisms mentioned in Scripture and their theological significance.
