Today, Thursday September 16th, 2021, is Yom Kippur – Day of Atonement. This holy day, in Judaism, is observed with fasting and prayer. No work is done. All those in Israel were called to afflict their souls. Leviticus 16:29-34; 23:26-32
Today, the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the presence of God for us as our High Priest, having obtained eternal salvation, redemption and inheritance for all who receive Him. Today, Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of Majesty on High. He had been given a better name than the angels when He was called from the abyss. This is when God decreed, “You are My Son, today I have begotten You.” Hebrews 5:5 Having risen from the dead He ascended into Heaven there He was given glory and honor when God decreed “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 5:6
Next Thursday evening at 6:00 pm, September 23rd, we begin ATONEMENT. A conference to SEE JESUS!
On Friday, at 9:00 am, we will serve a Continental Breakfast. Our morning session will begin at 10:00 am, followed by lunch. Our afternoon session will then begin at 2:00 pm, followed by dinner. Friday evening service will begin at 6:00 pm.
Saturday at 9:00 am we will again enjoy a Continental breakfast, then the morning session begins at 10:00 am. At Lunch, we will have a question-and-answer session with Larry Napier and myself.
If you could feel the glory of God that is hovering in the Sanctuary, as I write this email on the Eve of Yom Kippur during or day of Fasting and Prayer, I believe you would be undone, as I am. Something so glorious is coming—the Lord Jesus Christ. We are praying for everyone whom God is sending to be with for these days of ATONEMENT! Please register today if you have not yet. This conference is not about who is speaking but about WHO we will be SEEING. We see through hearing the word of truth—the gospel of our salvation—Jesus Christ proclaimed. I so hope you can prepare and come. Read Hebrews as much as you can, fast and pray. We will have our Day of Fasting and Prayer next Wednesday, from 6:00 am till 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
Please pray for us, as we pray for you. My heart is burning, my hands shaking, and my expectation exploding! All praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ.
