The Birth of the Church in Scriptures
Begins Monday, June 6th to Saturday, July 2nd
The Church is born!
Pentecost has brought forward the coronation of the King.
God has poured out of Himself upon His King on Mount Zion.
Jesus, now seated next to the right hand of the Majesty on High, has been made both Lord and Christ and has poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Three thousand souls are added in the first day, and many more continue to be added daily.
Our reading, this month of June, will begin with Ruth, which is read on the second day of Shavuot in Israel, because of harvest and redemption. Then we begin one chapter of Acts daily with the corresponding Psalms and Prophets being quoted as proof of this new and glorious creation in Christ Jesus. We will also read James, First and Second Thessalonians, and First Corinthians.
