Let’s fall in love with Jesus all over again
This Sunday is Pentecost. I want to thank everyone who has agreed and prayed with us first toward Passover, and now into Pentecost. For ten weeks we have prepared our hearts, homes, and the Lord’s house to be a dwelling place for God in the Spirit. We have cleansed, we have dedicated, we have listened to the Lord’s commands through the Spirit, experienced Christ’s appearing, and the kingdom of God.
Now, we are about to fall in love with Jesus all over again.
When I first was saved, we used to sing this chorus.
“I keep falling in love with Him, over and over and over and over again. I keep falling in love with Him over and over and over and over again. It gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by, or what a love between my Lord and I. I keep falling in love with Him over and over and over and over again.
Well, guess what? It’s about to happen all over again.
Love is in the air. Jesus’ wind of the Holy Spirit is about to refresh our stale air with His new mighty rushing wind. It may come with thunder or a gentle breeze, but it is coming. He has heard our prayers and prepared for His coming.
Last week at our staff meeting, faith rose to begin June 7th, with “Love Feasts.” Every Wednesday from 5 pm to 6 pm before service, we will have soup and salad together before service. Then at 6 pm, we will continue our “Love Feast” to activate the body of Christ in ministry so that everyone can come alive in their giftings and callings.
This Sunday is Pentecost – Come and be a part of this moment that we have all prayed into.
