The Tenacity of Faith is in the Grip.

I continue to say to the Lord, “I will not let You go until You fully bless me.” Taken from Jacob’s prayer in Genesis 32. I continue my holding of the Lord, Jesus Christ, as my full blessing. I don’t mean that He isn’t blessing me, for He is. The blessings have increased in these last two weeks exponentially. But I know there is more, so much more.

My faith has risen in Christ’s resurrection, and my faith is pulling on all that God provided in the Son. Tenacity is neither greedy nor stubborn; it’s focused faith. There has come the time to hold on to the Son until He reigns righteousness upon the earth; to persevere in prayer until there is bread in the house to feed our friends. To believe the testimony of the Father concerning His resurrected Son. “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

To Have is to Hold.

Eternal life is in the Son; everything God has provided is in the Son. I will not let you go! Picture a huge download of internet files so large that you must leave the application open until all is downloaded. Now consider eternal life, being given through the Spirit, of which Jesus is the mediator and intercessor. Holding Him in faith and hope for the full completion of the promise, of His blessing, of His healing, of His life abounding, is where I am.

To Hold is to Have.

I will not let You go, Jesus until You fully bless me.
