In these days of intercession, we can pray inside His power.

In answering the call to intercession these last few weeks, I have endeavored to pray from Jesus’ position in heaven at the right hand of God. I choose to pray from His victory, accepting the truth of God’s word and beginning to know that all authority has been given to Him as He sits at the right hand of God waiting for His enemies to be made His footstool. Jesus is Lord over everything and everyone. In His longsuffering, He allows things to continue until He doesn’t. Why? because He wants all to be saved.

Inside the Holy Spirit, who is upon us, and in us is all power! The same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of Majesty, far above all principalities and powers might and dominion. God has given Him a name above every name and put all things under His feet.

Authority in the name of Jesus. Power in the Holy Spirit. Prayer begins here and ends here.

We place ourselves in the conflicts against humanity, and God’s rule. We feel the pain and allow compassion to move us to prayer. Now we are in place for the victory.

We identify in prayer with the Lord’s provision of authority and power and our hearts are stirred in love and fervency. Paul prayed this way, Jesus prayed this way, we can pray this way. Our Intercession Wednesdays are changing how I pray and the scope of what I am praying. I am praying for us all to be strengthened with might from the Father’s riches of glory through the Holy Spirit in our inner man.

The time to reign with Christ is now.
