In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2
Jesus went and prepared a place for us, reconciling us to God through His death, justifying us in His resurrection, glorifying us through His intercession and making us one in love. And so, we become many mansions in which Father and Jesus dwell. By faith, Jesus dwells in our heart and His word, by hope, abides in our heart too. The Holy Spirit pours love into our hearts and we rejoice. We are one in Christ.
Presence, Promise and Power – Jesus, Father and the Holy Spirit – faith, hope and love. When we become aware of the dwelling place that we are for God in the Spirit, and begin enjoying the union we have in Christ, our world view changes, from earthly to heavenly.
We are launching this Wednesday, Mansions. We will be using our Wednesday services to practice – presence, promise and power. Firstly, we will learn to enjoy God, becoming His dwelling place, safe and secure in His love, hope, and faith. After we have occupied our own mansion, for God, we will help others do the same. A new way to disciple and gather in small settings.
We will change the service so that, both in the sanctuary and online, you will be given the truths and time to practice how to activate them for yourself and others. We begin this Wednesday and will continue through March. Because we will be growing together in theses truths I am asking that you would register (Your name and email), for communication purposes.
