Sunday was a glorious day of turning. We are a community of disciples in Christ. Practicing beholding the Lamb of God in His glorious state. I so love our church and our willingness to enter the truth. Here are the present truths we are practicing in worship, prayer, and meditation.
In Christ.
We are new creations in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new every day! We are new in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
We were made alive together with Christ. Ephesians 2:5
We were raised together with Christ and made to sit together in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 2:6
Jesus Christ is our High Priest – a better priesthood, a better covenant with better promises. Hebrews 8:1-6
The new covenant of the Spirit. God put His laws in our minds and writes them on our hearts. Hebrews 8:10, 2 Corinthians 3:6-9
The new covenant of relationship. All shall know Me. Hebrews 8:11
The new covenant of forgiveness. I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. Hebrews 8:12
Where Jesus is today determines Who Jesus is for us today. The glorified Son of Man is seated at the right hand of God, in the office of Lord, Messiah, High Priest, King of Righteousness and King of Peace, and much more. When we see Jesus, we see our place inside Christ. Seeing Jesus allows me to resource Christ instead of me. We wake in the morning in the flesh and take time to enter Christ in the Spirit. We wake up on earth but choose heaven to be our place of abiding Christ. We wake up in the circumstances but choose the new creation in Christ.
Practicing these truths in worship, prayer, and meditation, I become what I see in Christ.
