God waits for us to hear His voice and invite Him into our hearts.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:23-24
King David understood that to welcome God into our hearts is to be known by Him. Jesus stood outside the door of the Laodicean church, knocking. Those who heard His voice and opened the door, He entered to dine with them. The disciples’ eyes were opened in the breaking of bread, and they knew Him.
I have such a hunger to be filled with the Holy Spirit to overflowing.
In this season, there is an increasing thirst for the Holy Spirit and an awareness that we need our hearts changed.
In this time of uncertainty, our cry has become, “Find my heart and make it Your home before You find a home for us.” When we invite the Lord to come in and know us, we open the door to transformation and revival in our hearts.
Last Sunday, we had an infilling of the Spirit Service, and we will continue this every service through Pentecost
Jesus said that if we are thirsty, we can come to Him and drink. If we believe in Him, rivers of living water will flow out of our bellies.
To present our hearts to Him, in honesty and truth, opens the door for His infilling.
