Whenever I come before the Lord, I come acknowledging Jesus – His blood, His death, burial, resurrection, ascension and intercession. After all, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God is found in the face of Jesus. In other words, we can only see the goodness of God and His light and glory through Jesus. Sometimes when I come to pray, I find myself separated in mind and emotions from these truths. I am aware of myself and my inadequacies. I have learned over time that it is best to immediately realign my coming with Jesus’ righteousness. That way, I don’t bring my feelings first, which can so misinterpret God’s glory. Remember, His glory is seen in the face of Jesus, not inside of my world or worry.

So, I begin with intentionally aligning myself with His goodness, His character, His love, and His kindness. I do this by praising Him for His goodness, His love, and His kindness. I let these truths, I am praising Him with, rest inside my soul. This allows truth to make me free. Freedom is truth alive. Freedom is the Holy Spirit. Freedom is why Jesus came – To make us free!

Beginning with alignment, praise, and declaration of who God is – in who Jesus is – translates into light shining in our hearts, and displacing any and all darkness. We see the glory of God in the face of Jesus, we see our freedom, we see our Lord. Prayer becomes a place of joy, comfort, and help. It becomes easy to expect good things because we are seeing the glory of God, not the “awful” of man. Whatever is fighting with us will lose control because it has been undone in Jesus’ resurrection. We are not trying to be accepted – We are accepted. We are not trying to be loved we are loved. And, we worship, pray, and receive from this place of victory.

Upcoming Events

Wednesday January 20, 7 pm: Gayner Bemisdarfer and Lynn Mays, who both minster in our house with SOZO (A wonderful and powerful truth ministry that brings freedom, healing, and deliverance) will share, “You Shall Know the Truth and the Truth Shall Make You Free.” Come and find out that your “knower” has been anointed. That the Holy Spirit is the truth giving Spirit and Jesus has overcome the world and it’s power to harm you. He has conquered if for you! There will be testimonies and ministry from the entire SOZO team.

Sunday January 24, 9 am: Steve and Shirley Quon of Restoration Ministries, will share “Jesus Came to Set the Captives Free!” In this season of Jeremiah 33:6, Jesus is bringing health and healing to all, and as He is healing us. We are opening ourselves up to believe and receive from Jesus, our Healer. Steve and Shirley carry the compassion of Jesus as they minister His truths in power. Each year they conduct a Freedom Encounter (February 6th, 7th, and 13th, 14th), a two weekend complete healing journey into Jesus’ healing virtue. There will be ministry by their team after the service.

Sunday, 10:20 am: Nations Prayer – Join us for 30 minutes of reigning prayer. Help us by staying after the 9 am service for 5 minutes or coming at 10:45 for the last 5 minutes to demonstrate humility in prayer. We
are doing so in faith of God’s kindness and ability, and our need to humble ourselves to receive more grace. It’s time for the high pressure system over Southern California to be displaced by humility. You can make a difference!

Sunday, 11 am: I will share, “Carrying His Virtue into the World We Live and Work In.” Jesus perceived that virtue had left His being, when the widow with the issue of blood touched Him and was healed. Virtue – healing, deliverance, salvation – The work of the Holy Spirit is something we carry. How do we build ourselves up in this faith? How do we allow Holy Spirit access to every place the soles of our feet tread, and to everyone our souls carry? We do this by abiding in Jesus and His words abiding in us. The more we do, the more fruit we bear.
