The Lord has provided us His word, His Intercession, and our Confession

Jesus said to those Jews who believed in Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31, 32

His word, His intercession, and our confession are all one.

His Word is eternal and our place of abiding. By abiding in the scriptures daily, I find that I am always inside His truth. His truth is His word, and when I hear Him speak in His word, I see truth; when I abide in His word I know truth. I am learning to hear Jesus inside His word.

His Intercession is present every time I come to God through Him. In my praying, and reading, Jesus encounters me in the Spirit. I shift from my view to His, and from my interpretation to His. Intercession is an intersection between Jesus and me, and His conversation and mine. I yield, He speaks, I return to what He says.

My Confession is the meditation of my heart over the words He is speaking until they have become my words that He is speaking and in what I have found hope. They are my confession of hope. As I hold fast my confession of hope, I am transformed into His image from glory to glory.

His word, we all can read. His intercession is present whenever we pray. Our confession is our inheritance in Christ that has come in promises made as we are before Him in His word and prayer. Our confession of hope is saying back to Him what we are hearing. Giving back to Jesus, the words of Jesus and His interpretation of our journey makes us one with Jesus. This is how we overcome.
