When leaving the old to enter the new, prayer is key.
On Sunday, September 22nd, Jubilee will celebrate our Fortieth Anniversary. We plan to give praise to the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness in bringing us into His likeness. Forty is the number for transition, transformation, humility, testing, and closing a season of being known by God. Moses experience it, then Israel experienced it.
Moses ended with the burning bush and His call to “Now”, go and deliver Isreal after forty years in the wilderness. Israel ended their journey with a circumcision party, (No, you do not have to worry), Jesus ended forty days of fasting and praying, with the devil being displaced and the angels coming to minister to Him.
The one thing that all three had in common, was that they met testing, they submitted to God and His word only, and then they entered into their promise, power, and purpose.
Three Day All Church Fast – September 16th – 18th
We have planned a three-day church fast. Monday-Wednesday, September 16th-18th. Each day the sanctuary will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with prayer watches. This is so we, as one body, can come before the Lord. We are humbling ourselves and giving thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness and His purpose. We believe it will be a time to undo the past season to enter the new. The Fast concludes with dinner together on Wednesday at 5:00 pm. Our Intercession Workshop, scheduled for the 18th, will be a part of this time of prayer together.
Forty + Blessing – Sunday Anniversary Service September 22nd
Forty years does not mark time only, but transformation. I am inviting all of you, who have walked with the Lord for forty years or more, to come, be honored, and then release the blessings that the Lord has given. Like Moses laid hands on Joshua, there was an impartation for the season of inheritance. Then, forty years before Moses was ready to retire, he was then commission by the Lord at the burning bush for the purposes of God.
