IN CHRIST, truth is an expansive universe of love, life, and light. Here inside Christ we all have a place. There is not one Christ for you and another Christ for me, as though He is beholden to our universe. We are beholden to Him, and He is our everything.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross (Colossians 1:17-20, NKJV).
We are TOGETHER IN CHRIST! His family, His church, His body, His house, and His bride. The genius of this truth is that we are placed in His body as He pleases. Just like we do not get to choose our family, we do not get to choose our place in Christ either. That also means we do not have to be afraid. Loved with purpose, chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before God in love.
Everything is returning to ONE IN CHRIST. No fear, no competition, only love, and completion. We cannot displace someone else or replace someone. We have no say in the matter, nor can anyone say anything against His choosing us. We are loved so that we can love, given a place so that we can make room for one another, and have an inheritance in Christ so that we can give away whatever is required in this life, for we have put on Christ.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:27-29, NKJV).
