Our Vision for the Last Days
We are coming to Yom Kippur this Saturday, October 12th, the Day of Atonement. Our Lord Jesus, sworn by God by an oath, has become our Great High Priest Melchizedek, King of Righteousness, King of Peace. He abides forever as our High Priest according to the power of an endless life. Having become so much better than the angels through inheritance, when God called Him out of the abyss, “You are My Son, today I have begotten You.”
Jesus, sworn by God to be High Priest forever, having become a better hope, through which we draw near to God. He is our Mediator of a better covenant, established on better promises.
But Christ came as High Priest of the good thing to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:12
Today, Jesus appears in the presence of God for us; He is our inheritance, our intercessor, and our perfection, as High Priest of our confession of hope – Jesus is the better hope. Jesus has appeared once at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself and having done so has sat down at the right hand of God, waiting until His enemies are made His footstool.
To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin for salvation. Hebrews 9:28b
My vision of the Last Days is Jesus Christ! I am eagerly waiting for Him I anticipate His appearing. I have moved from looking for the church’s rapture to His appearance as I move my eyes from me to Him. I have moved from rapture to endurance of the saints into the perfection, and the fulness of Christ. I am anticipating His living Body coming into Oneness, in Spirit, in faith, and the knowledge of Son of God into a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
I will share more on this Sunday,
