“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.” Hebrews 2:9
In order to understand anything in our created world, we must first have an image of what it is in our mind. If I say, “banana,” you see a crescent shaped, yellow fruit with a brown tip at the end…not an airplane. Jesus knew that we would struggle to understand God the Father, so He came and demonstrated a life totally dependent and submitted to the Father. He showed us the Father by what He did, and then He said,
“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:7
We have not yet seen the result of everything made the footstool of our Great High Priest Jesus Christ. But we have seen Jesus, the express image of the Father of Lights, incarnate, Son of Man(kind), Who, Himself said,
“He who has seen Me has seen the Father;” John 14:9
For our Fall Conference: ATONEMENT, the Holy Spirit is calling us to “Come and see the glory of the Lord,” in our Great High Priest Jesus: the One Who has granted us ALL ACCESS to the Father—propitiation for our sins—through the perfect sacrifice of His own flesh. We are called to come behold Him, because as we behold Him, we become like Him.
