Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM, begins a five-week series called The “Builders Series.” This is a study in Nehemiah—Building Community in Challenging Times, as we grow up into people of purpose, power, and love. I am excited to lead this series. After I received permission to initiate this study while on my way back from Israel, I knew this was part of our first-fruits for going and praying over the borders of Israel. Now, the Lord wants to establish our borders, our inheritance, our families, and our churches.
Wednesday, 7:00PM: This week is awesome because with our starting a new series, and season of discovery, I have this Wednesday’s service to cast vision for this next season. I hope to be able to enlarge on Sunday morning, engage the sound of heaven sounding over us, and give steps for which each of us can begin incorporating these sounds. Sound is to disclose or reveal something that we haven’t yet seen or been able to see. When sound comes from heaven, whether the mighty rushing wind on Pentecost or the still-small-whisper of the voice of God coming to Elijah on Mount Sinai, the sound opens us into a new realm and gives us new language. Our discovering, and entering into the sound, brings the changes we cannot make ourselves.
Friday November 6th, 7:00PM: I would also like to invite you to join us this Friday, at 7:00PM, for our All Church Worship Night. We have our worship gathering each Friday, led by Russell Jokela, at 7:00PM. But this week, our adult and youth worship teams will join together in the main sanctuary. Come and join us as we enter into the sound of worship together.
