Here we go again, back into purple, and back outside for the Sunday 10:00 am Parking Lot Service, and online at JubileechurchCA YouTube. I wouldn’t say I like doing this, but Jesus did make me smile this morning. First, He took me to Hebrews 13:12-13: “Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.”
I had to laugh at the image and prophetic promise here. Jesus, to sanctify us, suffered outside the gate. We are now to go forth to Him outside, bearing His reproach. Jesus is going to meet us in the Parking Lot. I am excited about what the Lord is speaking about His plans to sanctify us. To sanctify means to set apart. Last Sunday, we renewed our “Yes” to be His disciples. Now He has immediately started a new sanctification through the truth and in sending.
“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth” (John 17:17-19, NKJV).
Immediately the Lord is moving us as disciples, into making disciples. In other words, we are going to multiply instead of diminishing. How? Through activating His members into leaders and starting small groups in every city. I had hoped we would have more time to grow in our intercession, but it appears that first we will be gathering together in smaller settings on His schedule.
I will share this vision on Sunday, both in the Parking Lot and online at JubileechurchCA YouTube! Even as I write this, I can sense the Holy Spirit brooding over the word of God concerning Jesus’ sending. Please pray. I will share more Sunday. By the way, it’s going to be a nice day.
