“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35a)

Beloved,

There is value in prophetic words that have been spoken over your life. It’s time to believe and wait for fulfillment.

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” (Luke 1:26-28)
God knows you. He knows everything about you. He knows where you live.

God has faith to speak of my position in Him. Mary was chosen by God to be the mother of God. This day, it was Mary’s time to exercise her faith and come into God’s destiny for her.

When she heard this she was troubled, but the angel told her that she had found favor in God’s sight and continued to prophesy over her what her Son would become.

But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The
Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:29-35)
Mary’s thoughts were on what she “knew in the natural.” The word was from a different place.

Let’s think about this…Whenever God comes into our lives He releases His presence and His promise over us. His promise is from eternity and enlarges from eternity’s perspective. So, our prophecies are great when we hear them. It will usually never seem like it fits your current situation or abilities. In fact, it will usually look like the opposite of what you are experiencing in your reality moment.

God is always speaking from Himself to you in the future. His words are eternal. Everything God ever said, He determined before the beginning of time…long before you heard it. You hear the word…and He takes over from there. You become pregnant. You don’t have to work at it…You are carrying a seed—period. When you believe it, it goes to the womb of your spirit.

Mary’s experience is a picture of the new birth for us. This is our experience whenever we hear God speak and we partner to carry it. We hear things that are far greater than what could ever come to pass in the natural.

Mary didn’t have experience with something like this. The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you.” Beloved, the Holy Spirit is coming upon every promise and word that has ever been spoken over you. Like in the case of Mary carrying Jesus, the Savior of the Word, He will cause you to carry the seed and see the fulfillment of His word spoken over you.

As we enter this season…only believe and trust His faithfulness to complete and fulfill the “impossible” seed that He has impregnated in you.

You are a carrier of great and precious promises. He is a faithful Father that will see it through to completion!
