Jesus submitted to the Father, and the Father was pleased to make His soul an offering for sin on the cross. Sin, and all its effects, were judged, condemned, and the curse exhausted. Nothing remained; sin had been remitted.
Jesus now has submitted to the Father, and the Father is pleased to make Him our High Priest and King of Righteousness, as He had Him sit at His right hand.
Jesus now lives for our life. He died for our sins, that are over and forever dealt with. He lives for our life, and His salvation will be perfected, and is completed in us to the fullest extent.
We receive this testimony that God has concerning His Son. We have life. Our life does not exist outside the Son of God. We are dead and our life is hidden with Christ in God. When Jesus, our life, appears, we will appear with Him in glory.
For me, accepting these truths comes daily as I meditate on His Word in the Holy Spirit. My citizenship is in heaven. My life is in the Son of God and all of salvation, healing, and deliverance. Accepting and enjoying truth before I can see its fruit is faith, and faith pleases God.
Behold the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. Behold the Lamb of God who has redeemed us out of every tribe and nation, and made us kings and priests to our God! Behold the Lamb of God who is coming quickly and His reward is with Him!
He who has the Son has life!
