Sukkot (Also known as Feast of Tabernacles or Feast of Booths) commemorates the Jew’s escape from Egypt and the years that the Jews spent in the desert on their way to the Promised Land and celebrates the way in which God protected them under difficult desert conditions.

We have just ended Sukkot and our Atonement Fall Conference.  Like the Jews who were brought out of Egypt, The Lord brought life-giving rainwater to pour over His people, at Atonement. Our conference speakers, Larry Napier and Steve Dittmar, released the living Word to the people. Holy Spirit revealed Jesus, the King-Priest, in ways we have not “seen” prior to this.

In Holy Spirit’s revelation, we “saw” the Throne Room, the absolute triumph and rule of Christ, the Glorified King, and our place In-Christ. Jesus is alive! He is not on the cross or in a tomb anymore. He is Melchizedek, The Great High Priest, who sits at the right hand of Father God Almighty. King Jesus IS our Promised Land.

14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest 16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. 17 For He testifies: You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 7:14-18

17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Rev 1:17-18

And in Luke 24:5-6, we read what the angel said to the women who came to the tomb of Jesus:

Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
