I want to declare this scripture over you…Read it out loud.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

How is hope sustained? Hope is sustained by the power of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the most hopeful person you will ever meet. He is so optimistic, so joyful, so large, and so jolly. He would be the closest thing of a big picture of Santa Clause, if we believed in Santa Clause. This is because He is large and enthusiastically optimistic, because of everything that Jesus did makes every day a brand new day. Anything and everything can change. He can do anything He wants because Father God has given Him permission to bring forth Himself, to reveal Jesus any way that is necessary. He administrates great things. Open up your spirit and let Holy Spirit awaken hope because He IS hope and full of hope! Simply let joy and peace start coming up inside of you. They are fruit of Himself, not circumstances derived out of life.

God of hope fill us with joy! Fill us with peace!! We believe we can abound in hope because of the power of Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, release Your power, activate hope that allows us to stay in joy and peace because You are the God of Hope!

When John the Baptist was ministering Jesus, before Jesus began His ministry, he set out to change the mindset of the Jewish people, because they weren’t ready to receive him, let alone Jesus. He said, “You’ve got to get out of the idea that just because you are descendants of Abraham you are in any kind of place, because God can make rocks descendants of Abraham.”

Ok,let’s think about this. This is offensive. To compare me to a rock? This is challenging. Let’s go through the physics of this. Is that just cliché? He can do it.

Now Jesus showed up on Palm Sunday. They were singing the praise, Hosanna!! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! All of the religious leaders were offended by this jealousy they were carrying that they covered with religiousness. They said, “Tell them to be quiet.”

Jesus answered, “I can’t. If they shut up, the rocks will start singing.” Was this a symbolism, or would the rocks actually start singing? He wasn’t using symbolism—They actually would start singing! In the revelation of Himself, the Christ, and His church, the world is about to see a world we have never yet seen. One of the things that is going to be absolutely radical is the manner in which we carry ourselves in Christ, or Christ carries us.

We read in Hebrews 3, Jesus came into Jerusalem intentionally on that day. He came so intentionally that whole week. He carried something. We are going to learn to carry that ourselves because we are His body.

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. Hebrews 3:1-6

As we look at the bible and if we allow the bible to tell us what we should believe, we will always be really encouraged, because the bible is so kind. It is the flesh that creates such a harsh response required. I get to stay in the house of Jesus, and all I have to do is stay confident and rejoicing in hope to the end. Now obviously this is a lot harder than it looks. The longer we go, the smaller our hope goes. That is because the natural hope is waning. But there is a supernatural hope that wants to wax bold. Look at verse 6 as a point of reference, because this is what is going to activate today.

…but Christ as a son over His own house; whose house are we, Hebrews 3:6

We are the house of God! We are the living stones that are made to be a tabernacle, a sacrifice of praise. We are the New Jerusalem—the living stones! That is what we are being built and shaped into.

…if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Confidence is

  • Freedom of sound, unhindered.
  • It is boldness.
  • It is liberty.
  • It is frankness.
  • It is not being encumbered.
  • It is un-tackled ships.

Rejoicing is the word for boasting. And it is to be as it was when we began all the way to the last breath.

So, as believers, one of the things that we have to cultivate and by choice, make our decision, is that we are going to be little children every day we wake up. The day is brand new, with all kinds of possibilities. We are not going to let our sophistication, our traumas, our offenses, our mindsets, or our opinions become the filter of life. When we wake up we just put these filters back on, and we see life just the way we saw it when we went to bed the night before. Instead, we are to wake up with wide-eyed imagination and expectancy.

God, Himself is excited every morning because He can’t wait to discover who is going to uncover Who He is? And who is going to breathe new faith and therefore be catapulted into new destiny? He is not bored. He is anticipant. He is the God of hope! That does not mean, “I have hope here and I am the only One that has hope and I will give a little hope when I think I’ll give you hope.” No!

  • He is God of Hope!
  • He is God of Faith!
  • He is God of Love!
  • He is love!

That is the essence of Him! But love believes all things and hopes all things. This is Him. So, if we hold it to the end…now the end is the hard part.

Let’s look at the house Jesus built. He got to show up for two days on the earth. He came into Jerusalem and the praise opened up. The praise opened Jerusalem to Him and created a reception that had to be according to Salvation coming. God wasn’t going to let it be anything different. The same people that said, “Hosanna!” said, “Crucify Him!” within a week. Trust me, it was not the people.

Something is happening in some of us. Salvation comes from within. Christ in us, the hope of glory. Hope of glory. Rivers of living water flowing out of our belly. He who believes in Me, out of his belly (or out of him) will flow springs of living water.

When movement happens, it shifts atmosphere. A shift happens in the Spirit, it brings a multitude of people in. But it doesn’t keep them in, because it is like a big wave on a day. It comes in and it recedes back. But those who are wet and become thirsty and begin the journey of pilgrimage, they begin to cultivate for themselves springs of hope. They begin to activate access and they begin to be kept and carried and they launch out into the deep. I’m going God!! And then everything falls apart. And journeys continue for a lot longer than they should have and so forth and so on.

So this place of response of hope is contended over. It is challenged. It is harassed. It is told, “You won’t hold it.” So, Jesus is coming, and this praise is opening the door.

12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. Matthew 21:12

These are all legitimate services that were set up in the law, but they were being abused and they were shutting down what the real purpose of the house of God was.

The real purpose of the house of God is:

  • Prayer
  • Union
  • Abiding
  • Worship
  • Adoration
  • Praise
  • Connection

This had created a false sense of worship. It was a counterfeit. It had become a counterfeit what was legitimate. It was in the bible, but it had gone past its legitimacy. It was now a canopy over people’s minds.

Jesus overthrew the whole thing and He said…

13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” 14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. Matthew 21:13-14

Jesus was just standing in a place where no one could stop Him because He was on assignment. He set His house in order to the purity of getting it back on focus and one thing only.

That is what purity is. It is a non-mixture life. It is just one thing. Now the prayer had come back alive. Now the power was being revealed. People were being healed and they were coming.

15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant Matthew 21:15

They were indignant. They saw this threat and this disruption. They saw this challenge to their position, their place, their safety, and their nation. They were indignant! And, they went after the key factor in this expression, which is praise.

Command them, they said.

16 and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, Matthew 21:16a

He’ll help you praise if you can’t praise. If you can’t sing, let Him sing. Give Him access. So, when Jesus said, “Yes…have you never read”, That was a conviction there…

‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise’?” Matthew 21:16b

He was pulling that out of Psalm 8. Psalm 8, the quotation is “You have perfected strength because of Your enemies O, Lord. Silence the avenger and the adversary.” Praise shuts the whole religious system down. Whole thing was not working. Jesus walked in, life started flowing out of Him. Healing, deliverance, worship, praise, intercession, access, preaching, teaching – it was just flowing for one to two days! And then it was, get back on track to what He came for which is to die for our sins. But that is the house Jesus built. That is the house you are.

Four years ago, I had that vision of being caught up into heaven, learning to live from heaven, and learning about He who sits in heaven shall laugh. For five months, I was told to not speak of what was happening. I was to just learn to live, experience and minister from there. Then for two to three months, the Lord told me to begin to teach about it. He then to write about it.

I began to write and got enough into the book that I knew I needed to complete it. The warfare became worse and worse, but yet I had to continue. I don’t even know how.

I had two visions. (It is in the Forward of my book, Saved Your Seat).

The first vision – they were both during worship –I’m in a place like Alaska, a beautiful, rich, majestic wilderness with a small little runway. I’m in a little Cessna. I’m in the plane, with the engine started, I’m ready to take off and as I’m looking down the runway. Over the mountain is a dark, ominous, black, menacing cloud. It was a massive storm. And, it was right where I was supposed to fly through. Immediately my thought was, “I’ve just got to wait out this storm. I’ve got to let the storm go by and then fly.” I knew that I was going to my wedding, and that I was the bride. I knew that it had something to do with a point of destination for the Body. As I was sitting there, I was going to shut the engine down, I was going to park the plane, I was going to desist from my plan and wait the storm out. Immediately, Jesus was sitting right next to me. He then spoke. As He spoke, He was right in me. It was like He was with me and He was in me.

He said, “You are to fly through the storm. Do not be afraid. Fly through the storm.” That was so counterintuitive to me. He said, “Listen to Headquarters. The Spirit of God will guide you. Listen to Us. We will get you through. You must fly through the storm.”

I was abandoned enough to life, and into the experience of God, there was no other choice but keep going. I agreed. So I got up into the air and then the vision stopped.

The whole week I started to think, “What would you do to fly through a storm?” And the Lord showed me six things. I started thinking, that when you learn to fly, your first license is to allow you to fly in fair weather. As long as the sun is shining, you can fly. But you can’t fly in storms, clouds, fog and things like that.

Could you imagine if you hit fog on the Conejo Grade, your car slows down trying to find headlights in front? Well, you’re in the middle of the air. You don’t even know who is in front of you. You don’t even know if you are up or down. You lose all bearing of where you are when you are inside a storm, so you have to fly by instruments.

The instruments tell you where your plane is, though your eyes cannot see it. I began to contemplate and meditate on that.

The Lord said, “I have six instruments for you, when you fly in and through a storm, that you must pay attention to. If you will, you will be on course.” He then gave me six ‘P’s, so I could remember them.

He said, “If you walk in and observe those six ‘P’s, then you will be in perfect peace.” So that was the cool.

The first thing He said was Praise. Praise is your altimeter, it lets you know your altitude. If you need to go up, you need to praise. If you begin to sink, you need to praise. Praise gets you high. It gets you up. You have to be
up, because you don’t want to hit those mountains.

The next one was Power. And in three years of meditating on this, I have come to discover that they are coupled. Like most things in the bible couples with something else – faith and patience and so forth. When praise is exercised, not only does it get you altitude, but it gives you power to keep going, keep flying. It is the engine’s gas. It keeps the engine running.

Praise and Power.

Then He said Prayer was the communication, to be able to talk to the ground, to those who are observing the sky for you, who are looking on the radar. They let you know if there are other planes. They let you know if you are on course, or safe to land. You talk to the Control Tower, prayer is communication.

But when prayer is being paid attention to, then comes the Presence which is the atmosphere of your plane if you are inside an atmosphere that you can’t exist yourself. It is like when we fly those jets at 30,000 ft. above the air,
you couldn’t survive. It is 200 degrees below zero and there is no oxygen to live by. That is why those yellow oxygen bags fall down if the cabin loses pressure. Prayer creates an atmosphere of heaven around you, so you can go through situations that are un-Christ like, that are hellish.

So Praise, Power, Prayer, Presence.

Then He said Promise. Promise is your map. It is your compass to where you are going and where you are coming from. It is your directions. It is the only thing you need to pay attention to. It is promise when you can’t see, because promise is where you are headed. You are headed to the fulfillment of promise. God does not utter a word to you to release faith and hope, that He just said to make you feel better, but had no intention of doing. He never says a word without the ability within Himself to look into your life, look into the future and say, “I think I can still pull that off, even with you. Even with you I can pull that off. You are not a contributor.”

Dear God! This is about Jesus! Yet we get to be a participant to the point we will be joined together in like nature by the process of promise. Promise changes nature. Promise changes nature. It gets you out of corruption that is in the world. 2 Peter 1.

So Promise is coupled to Purity. So you are not in double-mindedness, “Should I go back? Or should I keep going?” Just stay the course. Stay engaged. You have one direction. You have a wedding. You are on your way to the wedding. If you die, you die. You just get there faster.

So, Praise, Power, Prayer, Presence, then Promise and Purity would keep me in perfect peace.

I was planning to teach this because it was working for me. We are going to step into this.

That is what Jesus did when He walked on earth. He was not welcomed in Jerusalem, yet He completely took over the city. Nobody took His life from Him. Even when Pilot was amazed at His composure and His confession that He could hold, as the bible says. Pontius Pilate, said, “Don’t You understand? I’ve got the power to release You.”

Jesus said, “You don’t have any power. You only have what has been delegated to you. My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom was of this world you wouldn’t be doing this. You have no clue.”

From that little exchange of words, Pilate tried to get rid of Him and free Him. Jesus was never out of the authority of God inside of this. He was just walking through. On the night of the Passover, He is aware that Judas would betray Him and in a few short hours, five or so hours from then, He was going to be arrested. Then would start the abuse, the mockery and the beatings. Yet He was still holding an atmosphere so rich in God that nobody else has a clue what was going on.

John the Beloved was just leaning on the breast of Jesus. Jesus wasn’t saying, “Don’t you know that I am going to be having a lot of problems soon? You guys have got to get some swords and we’ve got to get some stuff going! We’ve got to get ready for this!!!” He just held the place. This is what you do.

So, the next week, we were in praise and worship. All of a sudden, the vision starts again. And now, I’m in the middle of the storm and the plane is going up with the updrafts. It slams down and then sideways. It is just frightening to all my natural senses. Yet, I’m saying, “Praise. Keep the praise.”

Do you want to know how valuable praise is? Jehosephat, faced three armies that he could not touch because of covenant. These were nations that were coming to displace him. They went into the presence. They had a service like this. They got into the prophetic. The word of the Lord came out and said, “You don’t need to fight.” Everybody is saying, “Yay!” He said, “Just send the Praisers instead.”

Now, you happen to be on the Worship team that Sunday and you are told the news, “Tomorrow we are getting up and the army is going out, but they are going to follow you. Here is your one song: Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever. Just sing that.”

Let’s use our imagination to couple with what they were saying. Let’s just say we have landed in Bagdad and we have been given the assignment to go up into Northern Iraq, because God has said that He is going to bring a total revival and renovation. He is going to awaken the eyes of the leadership of ISIS and we won’t need missiles to fight in this battle. We are just going to go in there singing, “Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever.” Now, we can feel that one, right? I could feel what that would feel like. Let me ask you this. Would you sing praise like your life depended on it? Or would you be saying, “You know, I just don’t feel like praising God today. I’m not feeling it. And I don’t want to praise God because someone told me to. It’s got to be real. If it’s not real, it doesn’t matter. It’s hypocritical. I just feel like a hypocrite right now.” No. You wouldn’t do that. You’d be saying, “This is the only thing God told me to do, so I’m going to do my part. Praise You, Praise You!! I praise You!! You’re good! Your mercy endures forever! Your mercy endures forever!!!” You’d get in that thing.

That is the way you read that altimeter in the middle of a storm. So, I’m in the storm and the plane is going wham, slam! I’m saying, “Praise, power…” in this little Cessna. Jesus is in with me. I’m feeling the presence and I’m talking, and the storm is just getting violent. All of a sudden, something started happening. As I was praising, and power and prayer and presence and promise and purity, something inside of me started happening! I couldn’t explain it, but I became a weather system. Inside of my being became a high pressure system. And the high pressure system began to displace that storm! As all Meteorologists know, high pressure removes the low pressure, and low pressures are required for a storm for water, for rain, for upheaval. The high pressure creates sunshine and hot, balmy days.

All of a sudden, I am a weather system. And the next thing, the plane starts breaking apart. At first, I said, “Oh no.”

The week before during my instrument rated meditation, the other question that bugged me, was, “God, why a Cessna?” When I was young, in my thirties and forties, the prophetic words that would come were that I was like an F-16, and we were like a battle ship. We had all these prophets telling us this. But now I am a Cessna. What did I do wrong? What happened? Why, what did I do?

But, I began to understand as the plane broke up that it was just a vehicle. The strength of the vehicle was no longer needed. So I had gone from an F-16 to a Cessna. The outer man began perishing, but the inner man had been growing stronger. Now the inner man had begun to take over. Now the inner man didn’t need the plane. And I am flying and Jesus is flying with me! We are flying in blue skies and we are soaring. Then the vision ended.

So I get up and I share this whole experience with the teaching. We are going to re-activate our instruments and get them back in functionality. As I was preparing for this message and listening to the Lord, I first was asking the Lord (because it had been 3 years) “So where am I right now?” He said, “Well you basically fly without an airplane now.” I said, “I know that. And yet I have to fly through storms without an airplane now. I feel the environment around me even more acutely, but I can’t resource anything but You.” I’m thinking, I’m flying without an airplane and I’ve got to keep my eyes on Jesus because the storm wants to take my eyes off of Jesus. He has perfected things in me but He has not finished the course yet. The course is not completed so therefore we have to keep flying and keep pressing through the storm until God accomplishes what He wants in that
storm.

It is ironic, that since I had that vision, we have had three years of high pressure. I don’t know how to unlock the other side. The Lord showed me about the Blood, and the Blood of Jesus being all sufficient and needs to be released, as the only reason for life to come back to California. If you live in the invisible and are not contained by the visible, then you cannot be undone, because the Word is truth whether it is happening or not. The victory is true whether you are seeing it or not. The plan of God is being accomplished whether it is being done or not. And that’s why you are holding fast the confession of hope firm to the end.
