This Christmas, why not ask for the biggest present ever? Glorification. Just like resurrection, we have been joined to Christ here and have been given glorification already. We just haven’t arrived there yet.

Paul was willing to lose everything to gain Christ. He suffered loss and counted his loss as rubbish. He was willing to be conformed to Christ’s death to obtain Christ’s resurrection. He let everyone know He hadn’t arrived there yet but was pressing toward the upward call of a God in Christ Jesus.

Paul declared that we were foreknown and predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus the firstborn of many brethren. He went on to say that we were called, justified, and glorified. Now we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be like Him, but when He appears we shall be like Him.

Christmas is about wonder, wide eyed children waiting for Santa. We too can be wide eyed children waiting for Jesus filling our days with imagining what it will be like to be glorified in Christ, resurrected in Christ, what it will feel like see death swallowed up by life, every tear wiped away by the Father.

This is not a story, embellished upon over time, becoming a legend a myth. This is truth in Christ. We have been glorified, we have been raised with Him, we are seated with Him in heavenly places. This is much more amazing than getting taken to the North Pole to see Santa.

Imagine and it shall be. See and become—behold the glorified Christ. If you have a moment, register today for our “Behold the Glorified Christ Weekend“, with Larry Napier and Thea Benny, January 20-22nd. We are praying transformation prayer over all our registrants.
