Oneness, the place Jesus has prepared for us. It is a destination, a maturity, a fullness, a place where resurrection life is vibrant, and something each of us have been call to. The practice of union is simple but also challenging because it is inside of Christ and all He has accomplished. It is not inside of our current life’s situation. This means we must choose to enter into what Christ has done, independent of what we are going through. In other words, we enjoy His deliverance before we are delivered.

First: Accept our reality to fight with where we are. It is to expend our faith on sight, and not on the unseen. Accepting our reality is not unbelief but freedom from struggling with changing it.

Second: Enter into truth now we are free to choose truth and begin our union with Christ and His resurrection. This is the place where faith grows, as we live by faith and not by sight.

Third: Truth is God’s word and it is what sanctifies us. The knowing of Christ in His truth through His word is assurance, peace, and joy. In fact, all that attributes and accomplishments and are accessible, enjoyable, and penetrate our being.

Fourth: Meditate on His name we are growing up in all things into Him. Our faith is in a man. A man is know in His name. When we say Jesus, we are saying salvation. In other words, I ascribe and allow the truth of Jesus’ salvation to enter into my being. I can experience this in all His glorious victory, by describing one attribute at a time inside His name. There I am experiencing what the bible calls “knowing”.

Fifth: Become aware of union while I worship God in truth, ascribing to Jesus His great and complete work, I am weaving together my soul into truth and truth into my soul. I am penetrating the heavenly realm of truth, and it is penetrating me. Jesus is being revealed in His abundance of peace and truth. When I become aware, I worship Christ. Allow all that you see in Christ to penetrate your emotions, your imagination, your intellect.

Union is our inheritance, assured us in His resurrection. It cannot be taken from us, because it is in Christ. Our enjoyment, and practice of our union, causes us to shift from the struggle of accepting reality (which always comes first) to receiving truth (His resurrection). The fulfillment of His promises, our resurrected inheritance is found here.

Here are two scriptures to practice seeing, hearing and entering into union with Christ. Allow your imagination to take hold, and your emotions to become aware of peace as you enter into truth.

Ephesians 4:13

“till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;”

Malachi 3:16

“Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name.”
