Jesus did so much for us when He was raised from the dead. He wiped out the certificate of debt we had through the law, nailing it to the cross forever, having disarmed principalities and powers. He then made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. In other words, He paid our debt, smeared out the contract of debt against us, and divested the debt collector and his minions of all authority. He exhibited them in His raucous celebration of victory, and paraded them in humiliation. Jesus did that for you and me!
Therefore, whatever we do and wherever we go, we now are always led in His triumph. I know it may not look like that, or feel like that, but it’s true.
Paul left an open door of Ministry that had been given to him by the Lord because he couldn’t find rest in his spirit, because he was looking for Titus. His conclusion: It didn’t matter whether he was in fruitful Ministry or searching for a friend, he was always, at all times, being led in the raucous celebration of Jesus’ victory!
We are the fragrance of Jesus in every place. We need only to believe in the Father’s resurrection of Jesus, and all things will work together for good. We need only to praise Jesus for His victory, and His victory parade will find us and carry us up in celebration. Imagine that our entire life is being led in triumph in Christ, diffusing the fragrance of His knowledge in every place!
We bring God honor when we join the celebration by faith. We bring ourselves freedom when we tell our soul to join the parade!
