I asked the Father what He wanted for Christmas, He said “Worship”. That might seem a bit odd, like self-serving, but actually it isn’t, Worship is calling back to the Father. Worship is our returning to Life, love, and light. Worship is finding our way home. Like the song written during World War Two:

“I’ll be home for Christmas, you can count on me. Please have snow and mistletoe and presents under the tree. Christmas Eve will find me where the lovelight gleams I’ll be home for Christmas if only in my dreams.”

I asked the Father what He wanted to give us this Christmas. He said, “My Presence.”

I smiled because I heard, “My present I want to give is My Presence. “I saw us gathering in the arms of love, as the Father takes us into His embrace, “Where the lovelight gleams.”

In His presence is fulness of joy, where times of refreshing come. Worship returns us back home, where the lovelight gleams. Worship brings us into His presence and His presence is His love.

I began immediately; why wait for Christmas, right? I opened my eyes to behold the Father in worship, I received His present – His Presence, where His lovelight gleams and I entered fully in. I am here again as I write this blog. What a blessing His presence is; what a present we can give in our worship.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Saturday, December 24th 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, will be our coming to worship, and give our presence to the Father, for the gift of His Son.

Christmas Morning Service Sunday, December 25th 10:00 am to 11:15 am will be our time to unwrap the Father’s presents, His presence enveloping our hearts, filling His body, bringing refreshing to all.

A glorious gift exchange at both services!
