Elizabeth proclaimed to Mary,” Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her, from the Lord.” Luke 1:45
The mystery of Christmas is the mystery of Christ, and as it was to Mary so is it to us. Christ was in her womb, the word made flesh. Now, we carry Christ in us, the hope of Glory – the Mystery of God.
It takes a soft heart to see and hear what the Lord is doing with Christ in us. Beholding allows us to see. To See what God has said. The testimony of Jesus is seeing and hearing what God is saying concerning His Son. Christ in us, the hope of glory.
Baby Jesus was inside Mary’s womb, and now Christ dwells in our hearts through faith. There will be fulfillment of those things told us. Blessed are we who believe.
The Christmas Mystery is Christ now in us. The blessing of believing is fulfillment! While we decorate the house for Christmas, let’s not forget to take out of storage the outrageous promises of God that have been spoken to us. Let’s unpack scriptures given, promises heard, and HOPE! We are saved in hope but hope that is seen is not hope. Romans 8:24a
All God has promised He will perform outside of how we saw it. HOPE is like MYSTERY; we do not yet see it all. What we see is Jesus and His glorious gospel, magnificent salvation, powerful resurrection, and exaltation. We see Jesus glorified as Lord and Christ seated at the right hand of God.
Imagine the Lord bringing fulfillment to those things which He has told us. His promises are like Christmas lights strewn through our life illuminating our hearts. Hope is when they are turned to behold.
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1
