In writing for Mansions, I am processing a lot of truth in Christ. I’m seeking to simplify and clarify this beautiful abiding relationship we have in Him. How can this be, that you my God would die for me? That truth is awesome and the door into everything—Jesus’ death. Because Jesus died for me He was raised from the dead having justified me. This is where my relationship begins. I am in Christ and Christ is in me! The greatest love story begins here, in the Beloved.

As a bride, we have to join our husband. Jesus promised that if He went and prepared a place for us, He would come again and receive us to Himself so that where He is we may be also. John 14:3

May be” Our husband Jesus has prepared a place for us in Himself, a mansion, our intimate dwelling place, inside of Christ, that we “may be” with Him- not “have to be.” This place is not of this world; but by the Holy Spirit and His word we can abide in Christ where He is—seated at the right hand of the Father.

I am In Christ and Christ is in me. We are joined together in love, justified in His resurrection, accepted inside the Father’s House. We have dual citizenship both on earth and in heaven. We have the freedom to choose from where we will relate from, live from, and even identify ourselves as citizens.

We have had much more experience and time inside of this world than inside the place Jesus has prepared for us. But, we have been given His word to know His ways and His Spirit to experience Jesus.

Renewing love begins by letting go. Letting go of all the stuff that says we cannot enjoy Jesus now. Stealing ourselves away into our Beloved’s embrace. Jesus will not make us be where He is, He has made it possible for us to be where He is. We choose to be where He is when we give Him time in this truth. I am in Christ and Christ is in me.

Prayer is our conversation with Christ inside of Christ. To renew, stop complaining about life and start exploring Christ. To renew, stop demanding prayer to be a to-do list and start making it a praise list of your Beloved’s attributes and beauty. To renew the love He has for you and you have for Him receive love by the Holy Spirit and refuse to accept your circumstances as a indication of His love or faithfulness.

The greatest love story in eternity is Jesus and me – Jesus and you. He has made a place for each of us in Himself. Mansions to dwell in sometimes, occasionally, can become permanent dwelling places over time. Not a duty but a delight, as we rediscover the One who loves us! Jesus.
