We are in a global shut down; where we’ve been told to stay inside in order to flatten the curve and prevent the spread of the virus. But let’s not stop there. We can stay inside of Christ, and not only flatten the curve, but crush it. Within Christ is our life, our healing, and our provision for everything.
Here are three promises He made to us on Passover that are important for today:
PEACE Jesus gives us His peace!
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
His peace guards our hearts and minds, and gives us authority to hold an untroubled and unafraid heart within His love and faith. Come inside and receive His peace.
JOY Jesus gives us His joy!
These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. John 15:11
Jesus’ joy fills up our joy, and by faith, we receive His joy in fullness. Come inside and receive His joy, because Jesus has overcome. Coming inside Christ intentionally by faith opens us to all that Christ has accomplished, and made available to us as His body. This is a bonus scripture, the last words Jesus spoke of promise to His disciples.
OVERCOME Jesus has overcome the world!
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Yes, there is tribulation in the world; but in Christ, we have His peace and His joy to victory. He has overcome, and so shall we, by staying inside Christ.
