Fifty years ago the “Summer of Love” invaded the world as a generation who was told to “tune in, turn on, and drop out.” It was a turbulent time of internal unrest and civil disobedience. There was a war no one could relate to and drugs everyone seemed to wake up to…the times were a-changin’. Whether you were there with flowers in your hair, or not yet born, everyone was impacted. The world would never be the same.
Now, fifty years later, there is a new sound coming, a sound from Heaven. It is the Sound of the Father’s love coming in the wind of the Spirit. It’s time to “tune in, turn on, and light up!” Inside His glory is illumination where we see fully. Inside His glory is the light of His love and our identity in His love. Inside His glory is music the world has never heard before now.
A generation was told to come and they came. And now the Spirit and the Bride are saying, “Come all who are thirsty and who desire. Let them drink of the waters of life freely.” Better than drugs, the Spirit is bringing life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Far better than free sex, the Spirit is bringing true intimacy again to His bride in personal, intimate worship. This is the Age of Enlightenment; a new renaissance of Love, Light, and Liberty is arising in our hearts.
