“may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” – (Ephesians 3:18-19)

The essence of God’s Love and its expansive nature in fellowship with God and the impossibility to sustain on our own.

Last week, I heard the Lord say this, “The Love of God is the most foreign, frightening and overwhelming dimension (or essence) of God we will ever encounter and ultimately yield to.”

The Lord continued to tell me that “Love will terrorize fear, and it will rule control”. But the problem is, that when fear is in me, it will terrorize me, and when control is on me it will rule over that.

The war is over love. (Rom 8) This is made clear in the statement of Apostle Paul, that says that nothing can separate us from the love of God…we must be confident that His love is inseparable.

There is something so substantial happening inside us—while many important things are falling apart outside of us. And the victory is won when we learn to take hold of what is not shaking (that’s eternal) and allow it to become “large and in-charge”. We let go of what is shaking (that is temporary). We receive the kingdom of God that is coming and, by grace, serve Him and enter into that fullness—because He is this consuming fire.

And He is coming to fully redeem and fully collect earth, and all of His creation, back to Himself.

In Eph 3, Paul makes an apostolic prayers. He says:

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,[c] 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory

to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man; – (He is saying, “Dunamis, Dunamis, Dunamis, by the Spirit of God)

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; – (This is a focal point, a place I live from)

that you, being rooted and grounded in love, – (for this purpose)

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

This love is so expansive. I encourage you to meditate on this scripture this week… the Love of God. It is His love toward us—we can’t earn it or do anything to increase it; nor can we do anything to lose it. We simply must “be” rather than “do”. This week, let’s be conscience of Him loving us…
