Beloved,
When God looks at us, He looks at each of us from the foundation of the world and “knows me”. We weren’t an accident or a mistake. We all had an appointed time to be born; and through that birth, we now come into the discovery of His predestination (Rom 4:8) and His foreknowing. He foreknew ME! He had knowledge of each of us before we were conceived!
David said, “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.” Ps 139:16.
Let this soak into your spirit. “I was known by God, wanted by God, loved by God… BEFORE I was conceived or born onto this earth”. My life was written in God’s book BEFORE my natural life began! We need to know this because no one’s life walks in a perfect path.
Sin interrupts our days. Ever since the Garden of Eden, man doesn’t walk un-harassed or unmolested; we encounter many obstacles, but in all this…I must KNOW that being foreknown and predestined, there comes a calling out-from and in-to. You begin to hear the beckoning-out of whatever we are in, into whatever He called us to be—first and foremost—a son or daughter that is completely loved.
The highest call for us is to know is that we are a “well-loved son or daughter.” If we let this revelation come into the depth of our soul, emotions, memory and feelings, then whatever we walk through in life is far less consequential. We don’t expend our energy to “prove” anything, because we KNOW everything. We KNOW our position of being in our Father’s Family, as a well-loved child of God.
In scripture, each time the Father spoke audibly to Jesus, He said, “This is My beloved Son”. I pray today that we all hear these words for ourselves:
I am a beloved son/daughter of Father God, in whom He is well pleased, not because I do everything or anything right, but simply because I am seed of my Father. I am born of Him.
