“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:24)

Dear Beloved of the Lord,

Holy Spirit before the world was. Jesus’ prayer, for us, was that we would share in His glory and the love He had before the foundation of the world. This ancient glory and love is ours now in Christ.

God’s glory is in His love. This glory was with the Father, Son, and the world. This ancient glory and love is ours now in Christ.

The glory and love of Christ brings us into unity and oneness with God, and each other. No effort of self to love, or to get along, can accomplish what the oneness and love of God has. Jesus left His glory to save us; and then gave us His glory and love. It is ours to receive.

save us; and then gave us His glory and love. It is ours to receive.

To enter into His glory, begin with praise. When we praise Jesus, His glory manifests in our praise.

To enter into His glory, begin with praise. When we praise Jesus, His glory manifests in our praise.

To enter into His love, begin with honesty. When we are honest the Lord reveals His love to us.

To enter into His love, begin with honesty. When we are honest the Lord reveals His love to us.

Praise Jesus until you become aware of His presence. Continue until His  glory (more intense presence) surrounds you. Now, draw near with a true heart in the full assurance of faith, letting the substance of God’s glory and love fill you. Practice abiding here throughout your day. This will make the place Jesus has prepared for you become all the more real. Who knows what you will find here…
