We are in the resurrection! I want to invite you to join me as we read through the Kingdom Epistles. Peter, John, Galatians, Colossians, Romans, and Ephesians, one to two chapters a day.

We began yesterday, (Monday, April 18th) with 1 Peter Chapter One. Our aim is to read aloud each day to our Father and listen to what our Lord Jesus is saying to us as we walk through these epistles in preparation to Pentecost.

After His resurrection, Jesus was seen many times for forty days, “Speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.” Acts 1:3b. I chose to start with 1 Peter and then 1 John, as these two were eyewitnesses of these forty days. Then we move to Paul, who received the gospel not from man, but from the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:12. We will finish up with Peter and John closing our time with Ephesians.

Today is 1 Peter Chapter Two. Having read through the gospels these last forty days, I believe we are going to witness the transformation of these two men. I am reading these epistles as if for the first time. I want to see what I haven’t seen and hear what I have not heard or forgot. On Wednesday, we will discuss in groups what the Lord has spoken to us as we read aloud the epistles. I will share with those online as my group. Sunday’s messages will all come from where we are reading and the faith being given concerning Jesus Christ, and His kingdom of God.
