There is a little-known and often overlooked promise to answered prayer.

Answered prayer is dependent on abiding in Jesus and His words abiding in us. When we abide in Jesus, we pray from where He is, who He is, and all that is His. When His words abide in us, we have confidence in what we ask for, because we know what He would ask.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7

The reason for abiding-answered prayer is that we are not asking from the problem but from the answer. Imagine as we rest in His grace, we see the Holy Spirit moving mountains, and bringing completion to whatever we have asked. In Jesus, we stand and in Jesus we receive. And, in this uninterrupted fellowship in Christ and His truth, the Holy Spirit brings whatever is lacking on earth into fruition.

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, so you will be My disciples. John 15:8
