I am praying for all of us in this time of great transition to not to lose heart, but to be empowered by the Spirit of God in our inner man. Monumental shifts have happened and are happening right now, but none more significant than the one happening inside our hearts and minds as we see Christ Jesus in glory.
Praise is to faith as complaining is to unbelief. Unbelief fixes its gaze upon the circumstances of life (especially the giants) as well as our inabilities. In contrast, faith fixes its gaze on Jesus Christ, His Word, and His Ability to Accomplish All.
Praise is a weapon!
“Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints.”
Praise the Lord! (Psalm 149:5-9, NKJV)
God waits to be exalted so that He can show us mercy.
God is not on delay. He is waiting for us to agree with His greatness, His goodness, and His glorious name! We do that by praising Him. Faith rises as we praise, and we rise within His praise. Why wouldn’t we? We applaud the head—Christ, and we grow into Him. We are His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. We come out of our unbelief into the faith of Jesus!
